I provide telehealth sessions for clients in Illinois and Missouri. In my practice, I support clients who are looking for perspective and guidance to fully realize their wellness goals. My practice supports anyone who is looking to explore a new role, identity, or challenging life situation, especially caregivers, parents, and older adults. I have special expertise in dementia/cognitive impairment, caregiving, and long-term care. I utilize a variety of therapies including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, & strengths-based therapy. I view wellness as holistic and use a biopsychosocial spiritual perspective in my practice. It’s an act of courage and bravery to truly prioritize yourself and begin to work through challenges and constructs that may be working against you. I’m constantly inspired by the resilience of my clients and consider it an honor to walk in partnership through some of their most challenging times and situations. Welcome, I look forward to meeting you.

I work with individuals on a variety of different issues directly impacting their lives: pregnancy, abortion, sexuality, gender identity, relationships, and the intersection of these experiences with religion/spirituality. The things we most need to talk about are often the things that make us uncomfortable, challenge our worldview, or are deemed “socially unacceptable”. Exploring these issues and our feelings in a safe environment expands our horizons and helps us to better understand ourselves and the world around us. Learning allows us to grow and develop as human beings. Personal growth can help us heal. I work with folks on exploring pregnancy options, processing abortion experiences, and on individual goals. My practice is explicitly queer and trans-affirming, sex-positive, pro-abortion, and feminist. If you are seeking support with identity, transition, pregnancy options, and/or abortion, I'd be honored to have the opportunity to work with you. You are worthy of happiness, love, and acceptance. You deserve to be treated with compassion, dignity, and respect. When you're ready, I'm happy to be a part of your healing journey. Please contact me for a complementary phone consult.

I enjoy working with couples, individuals and families. I also enjoy working with adolescents. Following graduation from St. Louis University in 1995 my focus became helping people attain higher levels of happiness and satisfaction in their relationships and lives. Issues I address include relationship issues, anxiety and depression, post traumatic stress disorder, work or career issues, performance enhancement, parenting issues, health challenges, abuse, etc. My ideal client is looking for someone who will be their partner in their healing journey. I broadcast a weekly radio show at www.blogtalkradio.com/thelovefrequency. Try it. Let me know if you like it. My specialties are couples counseling, anxiety, depression, PTSD, health challenges, performance enhancement, personal and spiritual growth and life coaching. I use family systems theory, structural theory, cognitive behavioral work, communication approaches, psychodynamic theory, social learning theory and behavior modification and others. I have strong analytical and perceptual/sensing skills. In addition to the talk therapy techniques I use dream work, breath work, guided imagery, meditation and energy psychology (which involves simultaneously using affirmations and relaxation techniques) to give my clients tools that empower them to heal more quickly. Call for updates on insurance as I often add new ones.
